Fleet and Hire Team Lead

 

Who you’ll be working for

You will be joining a fast-growing plant and machinery rental business situated in northern Melbourne. Serving small to large construction companies across Melbourne and Victoria, we provide top-tier machinery and equipment

The role

The focus of this position is to support the coordination of rental contracts in the branch and continue to develop customer relationships. As part of your role, you will:

  • Booking in phone and email orders for all hire products.
  • Coordinate the delivery and return of hire equipment.
  • Update spreadsheets used to control the location of equipment
  • Maintain a good knowledge of our range of gear to help find the best solutions for our customers
  • Using internal Hire system Point Of Rental to assist with Report building
  • Coordinate pre hire & post hire compliance paperwork 
  • Assist with Hire Contracts
  • Attend and be active at our pre-start meetings
  • Assist with Invoicing
  • Assist with asset management
  • Coordinate servicing and repairs with our workshop
  • Assist the finance team with day-to-day queries
  • Assist Sales Team with day-to-day queries
  • Maintaining good client/stakeholder relationships
  • Promoting an excellent team environment & customer service satisfaction

To be successful for this role you must have the following:

 

  • Experience in the Rental/ Hire Industry is preferred
  • Computer Literacy Skills (essential)
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers
