Who you’ll be working for
As a Landscape Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating landscaping projects throughout the western suburbs of Melbourne.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and completion of landscaping projects, with a focus on public space projects such as parks, ovals, and sports complexes.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other external partners to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Skills and requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in landscape project management, preferably in contract and commercial settings.
- Proven experience in managing public space projects such as parks, ovals, and sports complexes.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites within the western suburbs of Melbourne.
