How do we get started?

To get started, simply contact our team with your staffing requirement (number of workers, required trade/skill level, start date, duration, site location, licences/tickets needed).

We will then:

  • confirm availability of suitable candidates from our pre-screened pool

  • issue a proposal (rate, terms, start date)

  • coordinate any site-specific inductions or requirements with you

  • mobilise the workforce to your site.

What segments do you work with?

Our recruitment service spans the construction industry, with particular specialisations in:

  • Civil
  • Building and Commercial works
  • Rail
  • Waste Management
  • Landscaping
What kinds of roles can EWS Recruitment supply for our project?

We can supply a wide range of trades and labour roles fo the segments above and other specialised areas. We commonly place roles such as:

  • General Labourers
  • Skilled Labourers
  • Machine/Plant Operators (e.g. excavators, dozers, rollers)
  • Heavy-rigid Drivers
  • Dogmen
  • Form Workers
  • Spotters

If you have a specific role in mind that isn’t listed, just tell us! We’ll check our pool of candidates and source it for you.

Are your candidates site compliant and qualified?

Yes. All staff supplied go through our vetting process and must hold applicable Australian-issued tickets, licences and certifications (for example site-entry requirements, plant-operator licences, white-cards, etc).

Our vetting process is detailed to ensure that the candidates we put forward are fully qualified and the best fit for your company.

  • Pre-interviews to identify behavioral traits and key competencies and motivations.
  • Providing realistic expectations to the candidate.
  • Ensuring that licenses and tickets are valid
  • Reference checking
What happens if a worker we've been supplied is not suitable or we need a replacement?

We aim to provide a high standard of fit and reliability. If for any reason a worker is not meeting your expectations (skills, performance, behaviour), simply contact your EWS account manager or our team and we’ll arrange a replacement or adjustment as quickly as feasible.

We want you to be confident that the workforce we supply supports your project goals and site requirements.

How do you manage timesheets, payroll and site-reporting for supplied labour?

We use streamlined processes to handle timesheet collection, payroll payments, superannuation and other employment entitlements. You’ll receive a clear invoice for the labour-hire services you’ve engaged.

Our goal is to minimise your administrative workload so you can focus on the project rather than payroll admin.
