About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Water Cart Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for ongoing work with a valued construction client in the Greater Melbourne Region, with potential overtime. They will be responsible for operating a water cart to manage dust suppression and assist with general site maintenance. This role is essential to maintaining safe and compliant working conditions across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a water cart for dust suppression on site roads and work areas
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
• Fill and discharge water tanks according to site needs
• Assist with general labouring and site duties when required
• Work collaboratively with other operators, site supervisors, and contractors
• Adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and site policies

Requirements:

• Current and valid Water Cart Ticket (RIIMPO326E)
• White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Previous experience operating a water cart on civil or construction sites
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong understanding of site safety and environmental compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
